Ben joined the club when it inaugurated a reserve team into the McMullen's league in 1994 and enjoyed his first few seasons in his favourite position at left back.
He left the club for a few seasons once he became a father but it was obvious that he missed the camaraderie and returned.

2001 / 02

He joined the reserves and made twenty appearances, three as a substitute. He was a major part of the team's run to the Division 3 league title and so after six seasons with the club he finally got his first trophy.
