Billy joined the club just before Christmas 2000 along with Max Blanch and Adrian Devine originally to boost the reserve squad, but it was plain to see from the start that he would soon be asked to move up into the first team. Billy is an exciting player gifted with two left feet and considerable pace, and such is his commitment and enthusiasm for the game he will be on the first team managers list for some time now.
