2000 / 01   -   Billy joined the club just before Christmas along with Max Blanch and Adrian Devine originally to boost the reserve squad, but it was plain to see from the start that he would soon be asked to move up into the 1st Team. Billy is an exciting player gifted with two left feet and considerable pace and such is his commitment and enthusiasm for the game he will be on the first team managers list for some time now. 2000 / 01   -   He was a big player in the team's run to the Division 1 Cup beating a much fancied Knebworth 3-1. 2001 / 02   -   Billy enjoyed an exceptional year playing alongside Max Blanch and Barry Walpole in midfield. He was instrumental in the teams run to Division 1 League & Cup double honours. He made fourteen appearances for the team, scored three good goals and was awarded the Man of the Match honours with a club high twenty five points. 2002 / 03   -   Billy struggled with injuries and made only ten appearances for the 1st team scoring six goals. It says a lot about his talent that in just these few appearances he still won the Man of the Match award for the season with four first place, three second and one third place honour to finish on nineteen points.
