Chris, a versatile, cool finisher made his debut in the club's first season back in 1993.

Playing as either a wide midfield player, wing or full back operating on either flank, he formed an almost telepathic understanding with Vince Rowley over the years, (so they like to tell us!). A big match player, he scored in all three of the winning cup finals that he appeared in, (a league administration error meant he missed The Club's first!) being voted man of the match in two of them.

"Fergkamp", as he was nicknamed by then manager Joe Bondi, upon the arrival of Dutch maestro Dennis Bergkamp at his beloved Arsenal in 1995, he will always be remembered at The Warner for coming off the bench and scoring the second, decisive goal in the 1996 Herts. Junior cup final.

A cartilage injury and subsequent operation in the late 90's virtually curtailed his career. He is still very much involved with The Club however, making fleeting playing appearances, and has been caretaker manager for both the reserve and first team in recent seasons.
