2000 / 01   -   Danny joined the club along with his older brother and formed a credible partnership up front with Spencer Chapman, winning the Division One cup against favourites Knebworth 3-1. 2001 / 02   -   With so much competition up front Danny was moved to right midfield. Most players would have struggled with the change but Danny made sixteen appearances for the team, scored two goals and set up many for the boys up front. He was a big part of the team's run to Division 1 League and Cup glory and such was his impact at right midfield that Danny was awarded the 1st Team Manager's Player award. 2002 / 03   -   Danny made sixteen appearances for the 1st team, two as sub, scored five good goals and won one second place and one third place Man of the match award.
