This is Gary's first season with the club, and he has been brought in to fill the much troubled right back slot from last season. He excelled in the pre-season, and showed the commitment to take the spot from the outset. He missed the team's first three games due to holiday commitments, but earned 3rd placed M.O.M. honours in his first game, helping the team to their first clean sheet of the season.
