2001 / 02   -   Mark joined the club as a noted striker from rivals Barclay. He appeared twelve times for the 1st Team, starting seven times. Such is his goal scoring ability that in only these few games he scored nine times to finish third in the Golden Boot. He also played a part in their Division 1 Cup triumph against Inter, coming on as substitute which completed the team's league and cup double. 2002 / 03   -   Mark wanted more playing time and so moved down to the Reserves. He made seven appearances for the team, scoring a team high ten goals, four in one match, a hatrick in another and a brace as well. He won two Man of the Match awards, a second and two third places to finish second in the table. Mark chose to return to Barclay after the fiasco of the Reserve team folding in January 2003. He was such an outstanding player that the club will miss his talents a lot.
