1993 - 1998   -   Matt was a founder member of the club enjoying its success in the early years, but his playing time was limited after receiving a very bad knee injury at the end of the club's first season. He took two seasons to fully recover from this injury but showed his commitment to the club by taking to the field again. He played 1st team football until the end of 1998 where he received club honours of 1st Team Player's Player for that year. 2001 / 02   -   He was given the important duty of Reserve Team Captain but unfortunately by Christmas his work duties meant he could no longer commit full time. 2002 / 03   -   Matt returned yet again for more Reserve team football, but such was his job that he couldn't commit to the team as he would have liked. He made just three appearances for the team.
