Rob joined the team at the same time as his brother and immediately slotted into the right back position. He enjoyed a fine two seasons and never lost his place guaranteeing him an automatic slot in the cup final in 2001.

2001 / 02

Rob moved alongside Jay Bowman at Centre Half and improved greatly as a player in this position. He never lost his place all season and was instrumental in defence, allowing a credible twenty four goals all season. He appeared twenty times for the team and was sub twice. He doubled his goal scoring tally from the previous season to two but his great strength was keeping the ball away from his goalkeeper all season and help the team to a superb Division 3 League title.

2002 / 03

Rob again slotted into his customary centre half position alongside Andy Smith. He made a team high ten appearances, won Man of the Match honours in two games, two second place and one third place to also finish top of the Man of the Match table. He chose to play for the 'A' team after the fiasco of the Reserves folding in January 2003. He made a credible eight starts, won one Man of the Match award and scored one goal.

2003 / 04

Rob made twenty appearances for the Reserves and one as sub for the first team. He scored a brace for his final goal tally for the season, and received two 1st place, one 2nd place, and three 3rd place M.O.M. awards.
