1993 - 2001

Sav was instrumental in the club's early success winning four League & Cup doubles in as many seasons. He won man of the match honours in 1994 and was part of the team that won the County 5-a-side tournament in 1996. He started at right midfield in the Herts. Junior Cup final enjoying a momentous 3-0 win over much favoured Bennington. After five seasons with the club Sav joined another local team in 1998 playing at a much higher standard but re-joined the club in 2001/02, obviously missing the camaraderie that he enjoyed in those early years.

He slotted onto the left side of midfield adapting to a different style of game and was instrumental in the team's success to Division 1 League & Cup double honours. He made a 1st team high 23 appearances scoring 3 decent goals.

2002 / 03

Sav made nineteen appearances for the 1st team, two as sub, finishing second best in this respect. He also made one appearance for the Reserves and two for the 'A' team. He scored the one goal, won a Man of the Match award, two second place and one third place to finish sixth in the table.

2003 / 04

Sav took over the secretarial and financial responsibilities for the club after the fiasco of January 2003, and got stuck into the arduous task of sorting out all the clubs admin problems. He made a team high twenty two appearances for the 1st team, many of them helping the team out as a replacement goalkeeper. He scored two goals and received one 3rd place M.O.M. award.

2004 / 05

What can you say about the year the little ferret had. He secured the pitch at St Margaretsbury, a sponsor in O'Donnell Photography. He was Treasurer, Secretary, and then he played football!! THEN, he made a team high twenty five appearances, not missing one game, AND finished top of the Man of the Match table with twenty points, five 1st place awards and five 3rd place awards. In amongst all that he managed to find the net four times. He was also awarded two Player of the month awards for September and October. To honour all his work during this season the players recognised his total commitment to the club and awarded him the 1st Team Player's Player of the season award.

2005 / 06

Sav had another stellar season with the club. He finished top of the Appearance table with twenty seven points, scored six Reserve team goals, and four 1st team goals, joint third in the table. He picked up one 1st place MOM for the Reserve, and eleven points for the 1st team. He was also awarded three Player of the month awards for August, September and December.

2006 / 07

Sav had another good season for the club with twenty one appearances, second highest. He picked up a club high eighteen Man of the Match points and scored three goals, though some of his time was between the sticks! He also earned a Player of the month award for April.

2007 / 08

Sav is back for another season and will take over the managers duties again.
