Steve joined the club in its inauguration year of 1993, and was the backbone of the first team through its early successful years. He has played in every final that the club has ever been in, and was a member of the side that won the County Cup final in 1996. Steve has always shown a great commitment to the game and picked up his nickname for his ferocious but very legal tackles in the centre of the field. He hardly ever received yellow cards, but constantly won the ball at every given opportunity. Lately Steve has filled the midfield for the reserves, and is constantly giving his vast experience to the younger players around him, earning their admiration with his enthusiasm for the game.
